This specie originates from (Germany?). Their habitat
includes bushes, trees and tropical rain forests.
They should be kept at 20- 30°C, 50 - 60% humidity.
They should be sprayed every 1- 2 days. The mating
usually takes 4- 10 hours. Their oothecas should
be incubated at 22- 25°C, 50- 60% humidity.
Usually 30- 80 nymphs hatch from each ootheca. I
suggest this specie for beginners, as they can kept
together in groups.
Females: get 1 7/8 inches (4.8 cm) long.
Females are ready to be mated two weeks after their
last molt.
Males: get 1 3/4 inches (4.5 cm) long. Males
are ready to be mated one week after their last
molt. They fly really well for long distances, so
take care when handling one.
Diet: Drosophila, houseflies, crickets, flour worms.
The feed must be very diversified. To the newly
hatched larvae must be promptly offered Drosophila
flies.
Statis: The male died before i had a chance to
mate him :(!.. Looking for more!
Nymphs resting after a meal.
Two nymphs getting ready for the first boxing round
(hehe).
Subadult female, one molt away from becoming an
adult.
Subadult male, one molt away from becoming an adult.
Adult male.
Adult male hunting (allow 1- 2 minutes to load).
