Mexico Moth (Not sure of the exact specie name)

Found a cocoon under a tree in Mexico in January 2013. On May 1st, 2013 this moth hatched, being approximately 2 inches long. The wings resemble reptile scales, each of its scale it seems to be able to move to adjust the overall color. If put on the brown background, it becomes brown, and if put on the white background it becomes white color! Any help on identification would be appreciated :)!
