Red Ear Slider Turtle

First, I placed the turtle on the thick layer of
paper towels, as i expected lots of fluids to come
out. This turtle i got from a pet shop, which have
died due to some sickness.

Next I have cut off the legs from its shell.

The hardest pars was to un-attach its spine from
the shell. Ones that was done, everything came out
with minimal blood lickedge. To ensure that the
shell does not produce odor, i have salted it from
the inside and frees dried it for the next 2 month.
After dry freezing the turtle shell, i have polished
it.
