   Haaniella grayi

Stick Bug (Haaniella grayi)

The following pictures are of a female Haaniella grayi. Seems that she have died from just old age.

First, i made two incisions. One on the under side of her abdomen, and one on the under side of her thorax.

I have then secured the exoskeleton with some pins, to ensure that it does not close on me.

Here, you can see a step by step of how the ova was developing. From lighter to darker. Seems like the last step before the ova leaves her abdomen, is for the ova to develop its capsule.

On the top right corner, you can see what seems like her stomach.

And finally, i have sealed her after putting cotton inside, to make sure she does not loose her shape ones she have dried. This time, the female did smell a bet bad.
