
I found this gold beetle sitting on the underside
of Bramble's leaf, in Surrey. I found it on Jan. 16th/
2005. This beetle is called Metriona bicolor (Chrysomelidae).
Special thanks to Murray B. Isman for identifying this
beetle.

This is the same beetle as in above picture, but it becomes
this color at day time. Any one know if other beetles
do this?
