They originate from Africa. This is the most
common scorpion specie which is being kept as pets.
Their venom is very mild, approximately similar
to that of a bee sting. Though they are generally
very tame, at times can give a very strong pinch
with their claws but generally do not draw blood.
If a black light is shined over them at night time,
they will glow a florescent green color. But take
care not to do this too often, as the florescent
light tends to kill them with in a month or so if
kept on at least a few hours a day.
Diet: Crickets, Butter Worms, and other grubs.
